Basel Minster is a religious building in the Swiss city of Basel and is probably the city's most famous landmark. It was originally a Catholic cathedral but today it is a Reformed Protestant church. The original cathedral, with its characteristic red sandstone walls, was built between 1019 and 1500 in Romanesque and Gothic styles.
