The canary rockfish (Sebastes pinniger), also known as the orange rockfish, is a species of marine ray-finned fish belonging to the subfamily Sebastinae, the rockfishes, part of the family Scorpaenidae. It is native to the waters of the Pacific Ocean off western North America.

Golden Damsel Amblyglyphidodon aureus occurs in the tropical Western Pacific from Andaman Sea and Christmas Island in the Eastern Indian Ocean to Fiji, north to the Ryukyu Islands, south to Rowly Shoals and New Caledonia in a depth range from 3-45m, max. length 13cm.\nJuveniles in small groups are often found among large sea fans. Adults occur in steep outer reef, occasionally in deep lagoons and along channel walls, usually in current prone habitats and where there are abundant gorgonian and long sea-whip corals on which they lay and guard eggs. The species feeds on zooplankton. \nMost of the time, a fish's behavior depends on its species. Right at the beginning of the first dive in Nassau, Bahamas, we spotted a bunch of grouper.  Coincidentally enough, this one was a Nassau Grouper!

Flower Cardinalfish Ostorhinchus fleurieu occurs in the tropical Indo-West Pacific from the Red Sea, the Persian Gulf, the Gulf of Oman and scattered localities in East Africa to Seychelles, India, Sri Lanka, the Indo-Malayan region, and Hong Kong; south to Australia; east to Fiji in a depth range from 1-97m ( usually 1-37m), max. length 14.2cm. The species is common in shallow coastal reefs with moderate currents, also in tidal channels of estuaries. Adults are usually in small schools comprising pairs. The mouthbrooders form distinct pairs during courtship and spawning. \nBelow there are two Spotted-gill Cardinalfishes Ostorhinchus chrysopomus.
