Santo Antonio or Fernando Antonio de Bulhoes, his birth name, was born in Lisbon in 1195. From a noble and wealthy family, he was the only son of Martinho de Bulhões, an officer in the army of King Afonso and Teresa Taveira. He had an irresistible power with words and Saint Francis named him the Order's first Theology Reader. More than 30,000 people gathered at times to hear him preach, and miracles took place.

Orro, Aiwo District, Nauru: Orro Congregational Church - The Nauru Congregational Church (NCC) is the largest religious denomination in Nauru, claiming as members approximately 60% of the population. It is a Protestant Congregationalist denomination. The origins of the Nauru Church date back to 1887, when Timoteo Tabwia, its pioneer missionary and a Gilbert Islander, landed on the island. Congregationalism is a Protestant movement within the Calvinist tradition that occupies a theological position between Presbyterianism on one end and the Baptists and Quakers on the other.
