Turkey - April 24, 2007: TCG İskenderun A1600 takes part in the Military Logistics activities of the Turkish Navy. This ship, which has the status of a passenger ship, took its passengers to commemorate the Gallipoli Wars and anchored in Çanakkale.\n\nThis photograph shows a naval staff member hanging the Turkish flag from the pole and paying homage to it.
Every morning at 8am the Australian flag is unfurled in a ceremony on the flight deck of HMAS Canberra, one of two Canberra Class amphibious assault ships of the Royal Australian Navy.  She is docked at Garden Island, Sydney Harbour. Having unfurled the flag, the sailor steps back, stands at attention and salutes the flag.
