The frigate HMAS Arunta (right), destroyer HMAS Sydney (centre) and amphibious assault ship HMAS Canberra (left) of the Royal Australian Navy.  They are docked at Garden Island, Sydney Harbour, in preparation for an open day to the public during Navy Week, the first open day since the Covid pandemic. The Maldivian Coast Guard is the naval or maritime arm of the Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF). As the Maldives does not have a navy, the Coast Guard also functions as such.
