Nepenthes rajah (pictured in a tropical hot and humid rain forest) is a carnivorous pitcher plant species of the Nepenthaceae family. The plant is endemic to the mountains of Sabah in the Malaysian Borneo. Insects, and particularly ants, comprise its prey. Nepenthes gracilis is one of the species of the Nepentheceae family that lives in Indonesia. N gracilis is one of the low land nepe. This plant survives by trapping insects with its pouches, decomposing the trapped insect's body and making it a nutrient for its survival.
