The main stronghold of Nepenthes or monkey cups (as they are commonly known) is South East Asia, particularly the Islands of Borneo, Sumatra and the Philippines. Pitcher plant is located in tropical rain forest usually found in Southern part of Thailand, Borneo in Malaysia and Sumatra in Indonesia. It is rare to find and can eat insects.
