The Paris Pantheon is a monumental building in the Latin Quarter of Paris, originally built as a church dedicated to Saint Genevieve, the patron saint of Paris. It was designed by Jacques-Germain Soufflot in the neoclassical style and completed in 1790. The Pantheon now serves as a mausoleum housing the remains of distinguished French individuals such as Voltaire, Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Victor Hugo, Émile Zola, and Marie Curie. Its distinctive dome and colonnaded facade are reminiscent of ancient Greek and Roman architecture, making it one of the most important landmarks in Paris.
