$The Vuong Palace in Dong Van Plateau in the mountainous province of Ha Giang has been a well-known tourist destination for several years now. A century-old mansion and once home to an influential family headed by a powerful don in the 20th century, it was also recognized as a national cultural heritage by the government in 1993.\nBuilt in 1914, the palace survived 2 major wars: the French War and the American War. As such, Vuong Palace is also treated as a symbol of the past glory of the H’mong people. In fact, the palace was also called Vua Meo in honor of the king of the H’mong ethnic people.$

This was once the Qing Dynasty's river management office, and now it is the Water Conservancy Museum of Baoding City. It retains the characteristics of Qing Dynasty architecture and is a complex of historical and cultural buildings.

The Ganden Sumtsenling Monastery, also known as Sungtseling and Guihuasi is a Tibetan Buddhist monastery situated 5 kilometres from Shangri-La in Yunnan province, China. Built in 17 century, the monastery is the largest Tibetan Buddhist monastery in Yunnan province and is sometimes referred to as the Little Potala Palace. It is also the most important monastery in southwest China.
