Arches National Park in Utah. Arches National Park lies north of Moab in the state of Utah. These hoodoos are tall skinny shafts of rocks that protrude from the bottom of arid basins. At Bryce Canyon, hoodoos range in size from that of a human, to heights exceeding a 10-story building.
