This is of David Farragut, 'Admiral Farragut Monument', is an outdoor bronze statue of David Farragut by Augustus Saint-Gaudens on a stone plinth designed by the architect Stanford White, installed in Manhattan's Madison Square, in the U.S. state of New York in May 25, 1881.
This column marks the fire of 1666 and was completed in 1677 by Christopher Wren and Robert Hooke. It is 202 feet (62 metres) high, the same distance to Pudding Lane where the fire began. This pillar was commenced during the mayoralty of Sir Richard Ford, Knight, Lord Mayor of London, in the year 1671. It was further elevated under the mayoralties of Sir George Waterman, Knight, Sir Robert Hanson, Knight, Sir William Hooker, Knight, Sir Robert Viner, Knight, and Sir Joseph Sheldon, Knight; and completed during the mayoralty of Sir Thomas Davies, in 1677.

The memorial to Robert Gould Shaw and the Massachusetts Fifty-Fourth Regiment is a bronze relief sculpture (c. 1897) by Augustus Saint-Gaudens. It depicts Colonel Robert Gould Shaw leading members of the 54th Regiment Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry as it marched down Beacon Street on May 28, 1863 to depart the city to fight in the South. This is the first civic monument to pay homage to the heroism of African American soldiers
