A Sago Palm (Cycas revoluta) in a Florida flowerbed.  They are also known as King Sago, Sago Cycad, or Japanese Sago Palm.  Sago is a starch extracted from the spongy core.  Sago is a major staple food for the lowland peoples of New Guinea and the Maluku Islands.
