April 2, 2019 - Kamakura, Japan: people at the surrondings of  Tsurugaoka Hachimangū shrine temple, the center of much cultural activity and both yabusame, (archery from horseback), and kyudo (Japanese archery) are practiced within the shrine.
Kumamoto Castle, built by Kato Kiyomasa, is located in Kumamoto City, Kumamoto Prefecture. It sustained serious damage in the 2016 earthquake, but the castle tower has been fully restored. Other facilities within the castle are also steadily being restored.
