Fuji as is observed through Torii Gate of Arakura Fuji Sengen Shrine during the cherry blossom season of April. \nThis Shrine is famous for the view of Mt. Fuji and Five-storied Pagoda called Churei-to, located high up above 398 steps, during the cherry blossom season. However, due to the pandemic of CONVID-19, the steps going up to the Pagoda was closed to visitors and, therefore, I had to be content with photo-taking without the Pagoda.\nArakura Fuji Sengen Shrine was erected in 705, and is one of about 1,300 Sengen shrines which were erected in honor of the deity of Mt Fuji. This place is very popular among tourists from both Japan and overseas for its wonderful view, combining typical Japanese symbols of Mt Fuji, Pagoda and cherry blossom.
