Boston, MA, USA - Nov 23, 2022: View of casual tourists visiting the Bunker Hill Monument in Boston, home to a sculpture by William H. Prescott. The Bunker Hill Monument is a monument erected at the site of the Battle of Bunker Hill in Boston, Massachusetts, which was among the first major battles between the Red Coats and the Patriots in the American Revolutionary War. In front of the obelisk is a statue of Col. William Prescott, a native of Groton, Massachusetts, another hero of Bunker Hill.
The picture shows the World War II Memorial located in Washington D.C., USA. It's a sunny day with a clear blue sky. The memorial consists of a circular arrangement of pillars, each representing a U.S. state or territory at the time of World War II. In the center, there are two large arches, and in the foreground, there's a broad stone pavement with a few steps leading up to the memorial. The Washington Monument, a tall and narrow obelisk, is visible in the background, centered behind the memorial. Several American flags are displayed around the circumference of the memorial, gently waving in what appears to be a light breeze. There are a few visitors scattered around the scene, some walking and others sitting by the pillars. The trees around the memorial are mostly bare, suggesting it might be either late fall or early spring.
