San Antonio, Texas, USA - March 29, 2018:  The Alamo Cenotaph, also known as the Spirit of Sacrifice, is a monument in Alamo Plaza commemorating the Battle of the Alamo, which was fought at the adjacent Alamo Mission.
Monument to the 54th Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry Regiment.  The 54th Regiment was one of the first official black units in the United States during the Civil War.  The monument, constructed 1884–1898 by Augustus Saint-Gaudens on the Boston Common, is part of the Boston Black Heritage Trail.
