Madrid, Spain - July 11, 2022: The Puerta de Toledo is a gate located in Madrid, Spain. It was declared Bien de Interés Cultural in 1996. Construction began in 1812, but was not completed until 1827. It was one of the nineteen city gates within the Walls of Philip IV.

The equestrian monument of Giuseppe Garibaldi, hero of the Unification and Independence of Italy during the wars of the nineteenth century, on top of the gardens of the Janiculum hill. From this hill, located on the right bank of the Tiber river, it is possible to admire a series of spectacular views over the historic center of Rome and the famous Trastevere district, up to the central Appenine mountains. This equestrian statue was made by the sculptor Emilio Gallori and was inaugurated on 20 September 1895. Image in High Definition format.
