Saw Blade Shrimp Tozeuma armatum is a species of broken back shrimp (Hippolydiae) that occurs throughout the tropical Indo-West Pacific and the Red Sea in a depth range from 3-30m, max. length 5cm. The species is associated with black corals and sea whips. The body is almost invisible due to the elongated shape and the camouflaging bands. \nTozeuma armatum can adopt the same color bands as it's particular coral colony host. It can be white, yellow, orange, red or combination of these. The rarest colour combination is yellow and blue. \nTriton Bay, Kaimana Regency, Indonesia, 3°54'41.688 S 134°7'15.66 E at 22m depth

The reedfish, ropefish (more commonly used in the United States), or snakefish, Erpetoichthys calabaricus, is a species of fish in the family Polypteridae alongside the bichirs. It is the only member of the genus Erpetoichthys. It is native to fresh and brackish waters in West and Central Africa. The reedfish possesses a pair of lungs in addition to gills, allowing it to survive in very oxygen-poor water. It is threatened by habitat loss through palm oil plantations, other agriculture, deforestation, and urban development
Razorfish Aeoliscus strigatus occurs in the tropical Indo-West Pacific from Tanzania and Seychelles and then from southern Japan to New South Wales, Australia eastward to Vanuatu in a depth range from 2-42m, max. length 15cm. The species is recognized by the hinged part of the dorsal fin spine. \nThe species forms schools among the spines of Diadema Sea Urchins or in staghorn corals, feeding on minute crustaceans in the zooplankton. \nRazorfishes are remarkable for their strange body shape and swimming habit: the body is encased in an armor of thin, transparent plates; they swim in synchronized groups, each fish in a vertical position with the snout pointing downwards. \nBanda Neira Island, Indonesia, \n4°31'20.574 S 129°53'55.134 E at 3m depth by night

Robust Ghost Pipefish (Solenostomus cyanopterus), pink variation, 11 cm in size, also known as the blue-finned ghost pipefish, Racek's ghost pipefish, robust-snouted ghost pipefish or the squaretail ghost-pipefish. \nThese fish float near motionlessly, with their mouths facing downwards, around a background that makes them nearly impossible to see. They feed on tiny crustaceans, sucked inside through their long snouts.\nUnderwater macro photography taken in Lembeh, Manado - Indonesia.
