Jesus was traveling and teaching people. Jesus and the disciples were tired and went away to rest, but the crowds followed them. Jesus taught the crowd and healed the sick. When evening came, the disciples suggested that Jesus send the crowd away because there was no food to feed them. Jesus then took fives loaves of bread and two fish that a young boy had and fed the entire crowd. When everyone had eaten there were still twelve full baskets of bread and fish left.
