White's thrush has a black-egdged scaling body. This species usually feeds solitarily on ground in dense cover. It prefers mid to high elevation forest for breeding but can be found in lowland parks and forests in winter. It was previously considered a subspecies of scaly thrush.

The Yellow Crested Barbet Bird  is a  small bird that has a speckled yellow and red face with a small black crest. The belly is yellow with red speckles, wings are black with white specks and it has a broad black band on its neck.  A chunky, pale-billed, crested, fiery-colored barbet. Pairs are resident in wooded grasslands, savanna, broadleaved woodlands, and gardens, where they forage for fruit and insects, moving slowly through the lower strata of trees or hopping on the ground. The call is an incessant, unmusical, dry, insect-like trill that rises towards the end.
