Trifolium incarnatum, also known as Crimson Clover or Italian Clover, is a species of flowering plant in the family Fabaceae. It is an annual plant, producing a densely hairy rosette of upright stem, topped with heads of bright scarlet flowers. Blooming from spring to autumn, depending on the climate and region, the flowers are packed with over 100 florets.\nCrimson clover's flowers and the sprouts, which are similar to alfalfa sprouts, are edible.

Several tiny flowers of the climbing Chilean Nasturtium vine (Tropaeolum tricolor), each about 2 cm long, showing through the branches of a supporting woody shrub. This species is a climbing plant, needing a shrub for support, and is unusual in being a winter flowering species, in Chile flowering from August to October,  and is a favourite nectar-source for the local hummingbirds which then pollinate the many flowers.
