Tuatara are reptiles endemic to New Zealand and which, although resembling most lizards, are part of a distinct lineage, the order Rhynchocephalia.

The eastern water dragon (Intellagama lesueurii), native to Australia, is a semi-aquatic lizard species with a distinctive crest on its head and back, known for its excellent swimming abilities and vibrant green and brown coloration. This dragon lives in a green patch on the banks of the Lane Cove River in Sydney Australia

The Tuatara,(Sphenodon punctatus) is a reptile endemic to New Zealand. There are approximately 100,000 left in the world. Taken at Pukaha Wildlife Centre.
