Piazza del Popolo is a large square located in the northern part of Rome, Italy. It is known for its impressive architecture and beautiful fountains, as well as the numerous statues that can be found throughout the square.
The tympanum sculpture on the pediment is one characteristics of old Supreme Court building. These were the work of Cavalieri Rudolfo Nolli, a Milanese sculptor. The centre figure in the tympanum, holding a sword in the left hand and scales in the right, is Justice. The figure immediately to its left represents the lost soul begging for protection from it.

The Pallas-Athene Fountain (Pallas-Athene-Brunnen) is a wonderful example of artwork created between 1893 and 1902 to give an allegorical representation of the four most important rivers of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. It stands in front of the Austrian Parliament building, a Greek revival style palace. This impressive architectural complex is one of the most famous landmark of Vienna.
