Persicaria capitata is native to Asia and is commonly called pink knotweed, smartweed, Japanese knotweed, jump seed and fleece flower. Persicaria capitata is a perennial groundcover with an infinite spread. It has a dense mat-forming habit spreading by creeping stems.
