The Pasteur Institute (Institut Pasteur) is a French non-profit private foundation dedicated to the study of biology, micro-organisms, diseases, and vaccines. It is named after Louis Pasteur, who made some of the greatest breakthroughs in modern medicine at the time, including pasteurization and vaccines for anthrax and rabies. The institute was founded in 1887. For over a century, the Institut Pasteur has been at the forefront of the battle against infectious disease. Since 2020, the Pasteur Institute has been working on research into the vaccine against the Covid-19 coronavirus. The memorial of Prince Albert in Charlotte Square, Edinburgh. The memorial was made by sculptor Sir John Steell in 1865. The statue depicts Albert mounted on a horse. He wears the uniform of a Field Marshal. Round the base are groups of figures; The Army and Navy by Clark Stanton, The Nobility by William Brodie, and Labour and Science and Learning both by D.W. Liverpool, Merseyside, United Kingdom - January 19, 2018: A bronze statue of former British Prime Minister Benjamin Disraeli, 1st Earl of Beaconsfield (1804 - 1881) which is situated outside St. George's Hall in Liverpool City centre.  The statue, standing on a stone pedestal, is 3.35m in height by the artist Charles Bell Birch and dates back to 1883. Benjamin Disraeli was British Prime Minister between 1874 – 1880.
