This Grade I-listed triumphal arch was designed by Decimus Burton. It stands between Green Park and Hyde Park on Hyde Park Corner. It was built between 1816-1830, although it has been moved from its original location. It was built to commemorate Britain;s victory against Napoleon in the Napoleonic Wars. People can be seen in the background.
The Abraham Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C., is a revered monument honoring the 16th President of the United States, Abraham Lincoln.
