USA, State of Utah. Garfield County. Bryce Amphiteater. Bryce Canyon National Park is a collection of natural amphitheaters along the eastern side of the Paunsaugunt Plateau. Its rim varies from 8,000 to 9,000 feet. The Bryce Amphitheater is 12 miles long, 3 miles wide and 800 feet deep. Bryce Canyon is not actually a canyon, but rather a collection of giant natural amphitheatres along the eastern side of the Paunsaugunt Plateau in southwestern Utah. It is well known for its large amount off bizarre rock spires and pinnacles known as Hoodoos, which formed from the erosion of the limestone of the Claron Formation. Legend though claims that these pinnacles were people, who were so bad and evil that the Coyote turned them to stone.

This iconic natural bridge and arched rock formation is a wonderous sight to see. But on this dark night, a more ominous tone was brought to the scenery as a snowstorm kicked tons of snow and fog into the air. Our view of the rock formation is clear, but it is blurry beyond, making this arch a portal to the foggy, mysterious world behind it.
