Hiking through Spain. Magnificent views of the Atlantic and open spaces, mountains, hills and fields of the northern part of the Iberian Peninsula. Camino de Santiago - Camino del Norte, or the Northern Way, is also less traveled and starts in the Basque city of San Sebastián. It is far less common with the route goes up and down a lot (where as the Camino Frances is mostly flat). The route follows the coast of the Bay of Biscay until it gets close to Santiago. It also does not have the same number of historic cities and points of interest as the Camino Frances, but is a lot of cooler in the summer and most consistently pretty.
