The photo was captured in the summer of 2020 and shows the old Hvar town along with the narrow streets and wide seaside promenade. Blue water of the bay dominates the central space in the picture with ample copy room. Multiple yachts, sailing boats and small vessels are moored in the bay or tied at anchor during the busy summer months when thousands of tourists visit the island. The town was a major trading port during the medieval times when it was under the Venetian control.
