Miomantis caffra is a species of praying mantis native to southern Africa. It appeared in New Zealand in 1978, and was found more recently in Portugal and Los Angeles, USA, likely spread through the exotic pet trade.

The cape robin-chat is part of the Old World flycatcher family which occurs in woodlands and along the fringes of Afromontane forests of South and east Africa. It is also a common bird in garden and parks, were it is well known for its melodious song
The Drakensberg Mountains formed due to the combination of the Jurassic period large flood basalt during the break-up of the Gondwana Supercontinent and erosion from the later uplift of the African Continent. The Drakensberg Park were declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2000 to protect the natural habitats, but also due to its cultural significant since it has the largest concentration of rock paintings in Sub Sahara Africa.

No doubt, Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden is  one of the great botanic gardens of the world.
