Low to short hairy perennial. leaves rounded to elliptical, narrowed abruptly into the winged stalk. Flowers pale yellow, 15-25mm, several to many in nodding one-sided umbel on a long stalk, not fragrant. \nHabitat: Moist places, woods, coppices, ditches, most grassy meadows and stream sides, on heavy soils.\nFlowering Season: April-May.\nDistribution: Continental Europe and S Britain, north to Denmark and S Sweden.\n\nThis Picture is made during an Excursion in the Northern Eifel (Germany).

This gorgeous small wild cat is called a Pallas cat. It was named for the German naturalist Peter Pallas. This endangered animal lives in cold desert and Rocky Mountain regions in Central Asia. This is a solitary animal, living in old burrows of other animals or in caves.
