09 june 2024, Basse Yutz, Yutz, Thionville Portes de France, Moselle, Lorraine, Grand Est, France. It's spring. In a grassy area in full sun, close-up of a single Bee Orchid flower. The three pink petals of the flower are fully open and give it a triangular shape. In the center, a dark reddish brown outgrowth, streaked with youth and with many hairs is made to attract some solitary bees that will pollinate the plant.
25 may 2024, Basse Yutz, Yutz, Thionville Portes de France, Moselle, Lorraine, Grand Est, France. It's spring. In a public park, in a little-used area, a stem of Bee Orchid stands out among the sparse grass. It's a wide shot that allows you to see the first flowers of the plant blooming and others still in bud. Without sunlight, the flowers are a dark old pink hue.
