Bamboo belongs to the family of grasses, which could be an explanation for why bamboo has a high growth rate. This means that when the bamboo is harvested, bamboo will grow back quickly without disrupting the ecosystem. Unlike trees, bamboo stems emerge from the surface to the full diameter and grows until it reaches the maximum height in a single growing season (about 3 to 4 months). For several months, any buds that appear to grow vertically without branches grow up to the age of maturity is achieved. Then, branches grow from the nodes and leaves appear. In the following years, the walls of the stem containing pulp will harden. In the third year, the stem has hardened. Until the fifth year, the fungus can grow on the outside of the stem and penetrate to the inside and rotting the stem. Up to eight years (depending on species), mold growth will cause rotting bamboo rods dna collapse. This suggests that the most appropriate bamboo harvested when between the ages of three to seven years. Bamboo will not grow taller or enlarged stem after the first year, and the bamboo harvested has collapsed or is not going to be replaced by new bamboo shoots in a place he never grew.
