Banded Sea Snake Laticauda colubrina on a outer reef swimming to surface, looking for fresh water. Sea Snakes need to drink fresh water and regularly come onto land for that purpose. The Banded Sea Snake Laticauda colubrina occurs in tropical Indo-Pacific. Males maximum length 88 cm, females 142 cm. The Banded Sea Snake is often seen in large numbers in the company of hunting parties of giant trevally (Caranx ignobilis) and goatfish. Their cooperative hunting technique is similar to that of the moray eel, with the Snakes flushing out prey from narrow crevices and holes. \nThis specimen was encountered in the Triton Bay, Kaimana Regency, West Papua Province, Indonesia, 3°55'0.7321 S 134°6'7.7298 E.

An Atelopus seminiferus nominal toad couple is seen mating on a moss log. This endangered toad (IUCN 3.1) can only be found in the Amazon Rainforest of Peru. The reedfish, ropefish (more commonly used in the United States), or snakefish, Erpetoichthys calabaricus, is a species of fish in the family Polypteridae alongside the bichirs. It is the only member of the genus Erpetoichthys. It is native to fresh and brackish waters in West and Central Africa. The reedfish possesses a pair of lungs in addition to gills, allowing it to survive in very oxygen-poor water. Flower Cardinalfish Ostorhinchus fleurieu occurs in the tropical Indo-West Pacific from the Red Sea, the Persian Gulf, the Gulf of Oman and scattered localities in East Africa to Seychelles, India, Sri Lanka, the Indo-Malayan region, and Hong Kong; south to Australia; east to Fiji in a depth range from 1-97m ( usually 1-37m), max. length 14.2cm. The species is common in shallow coastal reefs with moderate currents, also in tidal channels of estuaries. Adults are usually in small schools comprising pairs. The mouthbrooders form distinct pairs during courtship and spawning. \nBelow there are two Spotted-gill Cardinalfishes Ostorhinchus chrysopomus. The species occurs in the tropical Indo-West Pacific from the Indo-Malay Archipelago to New Guinea and Solomon Islands in a depth range from 2-25m, max. length 10cm. \nTriton Bay, Kaimana Regency, West Papua Province, Indonesia, \n3°51'48.03 S 133°55'48.96 E at 6m depth by night
