This Powwow was celebrated on the Capilano Reserve, West Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada on 13-14 July, 2013. The Squamish Nation's 30th Annual Powwow was a gathering of First Nations communities to honour their culture, share, respect, dance and drum. Their heritage is respected by all ages.
The dance stick is usually a  wooden rod decorated with fabric, feathers, and beads. It is held in the hand while dancing.

There were vendors with handmade leather work, drums, jewelry, t-shirts 'every child matters', bannock, salmon. The general public is welcome.
