Coconut Octopus (Amphioctopus marginatus) is a species of benthic cephalopod that belongs to the family Octopodidae. They are known for their high level of intelligence and ability to use tools, such as coconut shells, as shelter. They are native to tropical marine environments, particularly coral reefs, and are well-known for their excellent camouflage abilities, including color-changing and mimicry. They have eight arms, each lined with two rows of suction cups, and are able to communicate with other octopuses through color changes and body language. They use jet propulsion to move through the water and can also expel ink as a defense mechanism.
