$Muzeul Locomotivei cu Abur Reșița este un muzeu feroviar în aer liber situat în cartierul Parcul Triaj din Reșița, județul Caraș-Severin, România. Intrarea este liberă și nu există nicio restricție privind examinarea exponatelor. Susține că este cel mai mare muzeu feroviar în aer liber din Europa.\n\nMuzeul a fost fondat de inginerul Mircea Popa, pe atunci directorul fabricii de locomotive din Reșița. Inaugurarea sa a fost menită să coincidă cu aniversarea centenarului istoriei producției de locomotive în oraș. Fabrica de locomotive a produs 1.491 de locomotive cu abur, ultima fiind produsă în 1964, după care producția a trecut la locomotive diesel și electrice.\n\nReșița a devenit un pilon extrem de important al industriei feroviare din Ungaria și România în jurul anului 1867, după ce companii private, precum fabricile de fier și oțelul Rimamurány-Salgótarjáni Vasmű Rt. (Rimamurány-Salgótarján Ironwork Co. - RMST), și Állami Vaspályatársaság (Compania de Căi Ferate de Stat - ÁVT - Staats Eisenbahngesellschaft – StEg în limba germană) au început producția la Reșița.\n\nExistă un total de 16 locomotive expuse, dintre care 14 au fost produse de o fabrică locală și au peste 100 de ani în istoria locomotivelor cu abur. Celelalte două locomotive, Bogsan și Hungaria, au fost achiziționate în 1937.\n\nMuzeul și colecția sa au fost adăugate ca Monument Național (Monument Istoric) în 2004 cu un cod LMI de CS-II-a-A-10905.[7]\n\nÎn 2013, Resicza a pierdut în fața Defileului Dunării pentru a deveni simbolul regional al Banatului Român pentru Ziua Cooperării Europene, care este anual pe 21 septembrie.$
