In contrast, the Organ Pipe Cactus thrives in clusters, its slender stems resembling a congregation of organ pipes, hence its name. This cactus species flourishes in rocky terrain, its multiple stems serving as water reservoirs to survive extended periods of drought. These two are endemic to the Sonoran Desert and found nowhere else in the world.
