Mount Roraima is a mountain located in South America, on the triple border between Brazil, Venezuela and Guyana. It constitutes a tepui, a type of table-shaped mountain quite characteristic of the Guiana plateau.

This beautiful and famous indigenous travel place is located south of the Auyantepui or AuyanTepuy in La Gran Sabana, Venezuela. La Gran Sabana, spreads into the regions of the Guiana Highlands and south-east into Bolívar State all the way to the borders with Brazil and Guyana. The largest National Park in Venezuela is Parima Tapirapecó located in the Amazon State. The Gran Sabana has an area of 10,820 km2 and is part of the second largest National Park in Venezuela, the Canaima National Park. The average temperature is around 20 °C , but at night can drop to 13 °C, nevertheless on top of the tepuis it can reach 0 °C (32 °F). La Gran Sabana shows one of the most unusual landscapes in the world, with rivers, waterfalls, deep and huge valleys, impenetrable jungles and savannahs that host large numbers and varieties of plant and animal species. The most prominent geological features are the table top mountains known as tepuis

Weather is changing fast over the top of Auyan Tepui - there are several rain showers every day, which leave the plateau of the table mountain wet and slippery and wash the soil away.

Mount Roraima (Spanish: Monte Roraima; Tepuy Roraima; Cerro Roraima; Portuguese: Monte Roraima) is the highest of the Pacaraima chain of tepuis (table-top mountain) or plateaux in South America. It is located at the junction of Brazil, Guyana and Venezuela. Venezuela owns 80% of the Mountain territory, Guiana has 15%, and Brazil only has 5%.

Mount Roraima towers over the Gran Sabana with a height of more than 2700 meters. The Tepui with its large, flat-topped plateau is located between Guyana, Brazil and Venezuela.
